Lynker Technologies is seeking a Program Director experienced in managing large federal contracts with a team of up to 100 contractor staff in many geographic locations. The position will be based in Charleston, SC. The candidate selected for this position will be the Manager for a team of multi-disciplined professionals working at government facilities across the country. These facilities focus efforts conducting coastal zone and coral reef management, geospatial tool development, technology transfer, data management, coastal hazards, social science, science research support, cooperative agreement monitoring, and administrative functions.
Responsibilities and Duties
This position is an executive-level Program Director with primary responsibility for managing the team members at multiple locations including oversight of the technical and administrative support of the contract. The Program Director will be Lynker’s on-site liaison with the government’s contract representative and government managers, as well as perform employee and contract management functions. In addition, this position is an integral part of the Lynker Technologies management team. Responsibilities will include business development with a coastal management focus.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelors Degree in relevant discipline (e.g., coastal management, preparedness and resilience, ecology, marine science, GIS); Masters Degree preferred.
- 10-15 years of Program Management Experience managing large teams of employees in multiple locations.
- Experience with federal contract management
- Excellent personnel and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- PMP Certification preferred.
- Geospatial product and data development experience preferred.
- Business development and proposal writing experience preferred.
